Business English

Target group

The course is aimed at anyone wishing to participate in or independently conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations in English, ensuring they present themselves with the same professional profile and impact as in their mother tongue. Due to the nature of the course, only participants with intermediate to upper- intermediate English may enroll. In order to determine correct placement, all participants will be tested before the course starts at no extra cost.

Course objectives

  • Provide participants with the necessary language tools to conduct a meeting, presentation, or negotiation more effectively.
  • Provide participants with the opportunity to practice their English in realistic role-plays involving meetings, presentations, and negotiations.

Content

We begin by giving all participants an advanced-level oral brush-up so everyone is warmed up and ready to participate in the subsequent role-plays on planning and conducting meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
We train participants to sit on both sides of the table, focusing on presentation and argumentation techniques in English.
We train participants in active listening in English, focusing on the finer nuances of the language.
Proper linguistic etiquette for meetings, presentations, and negotiations is reviewed.
Numerous practical and realistic meetings, presentations, and negotiations are conducted throughout the course.

Location

We offer both online and in-person teaching at Virksomhedsskolen, Vesterbrogade 37, 1620 Copenhagen. When registering, please specify whether you prefer online or in-person teaching.

Price

Course fee including teaching materials: DKK 4,500 excluding VAT.

Duration

20 lessons of 45 min., with two lessons each session over 10 weeks. Tuesdays 09.00 AM – 10.30 AM or Thursdays 16.00 PM – 17.30 PM
