Danish for foreigners – open course

Course target group

The Danish for Foreigners-course aims to provide students with the language skills necessary to communicate effectively with colleagues and people in general in Denmark. Special focus is placed on pronunciation, intonation, and everyday Danish language.

Content

  • We speak a lot of Danish from the first lesson
  • We focus on you constantly moving up in terms of level.
  • We teach you at your current level so you can easily follow along.
  • We give you a clear Danish pronunciation that is immediately understood
  • We give you an active vocabulary so you can express yourself naturally in Danish
  • We teach you to understand spoken Danish – even when the going gets tough
  • We teach you to read and understand Danish texts
  • We teach you about Danish culture and society

Course objectives

  • You can hold conversations in Danish about everyday topics with your colleagues, friends and neighbors
  • You can communicate in Danish in Danish society
  • You can follow media like TV, radio and social platforms
  • You know more about Danish culture and society

Course location

We offer both online and in-person teaching at Virksomhedsskolen, Vesterbrogade 37, 1620 Copenhagen. When registering, please specify whether you prefer online or in-person teaching. Private company group and/or private lessons are available. It can be held at our or your offices by appointment. Times for closed company classes or one-on-one lessons are available by appointment.

Price

Course fee per student including teaching materials: DKK 4,700 excluding VAT.

The course consists of 20 lessons, each 45 minutes long, with two lessons per session over a period of 10 weeks.

  • Advanced level:
    Thursday: 09:00-10:30 or 16:00-17:30
