Danish for Foreigners

Target group

The Danish for Foreigners-course aims to provide students with the language skills necessary to communicate effectively with colleagues and people in general in Denmark. Special focus is placed on pronunciation, intonation, and everyday Danish language.

Course objectives

  • To teach participants oral Danish in the shortest possible time
  • To develop each participant’s language skills as much as possible
  • To give participants linguistic confidence in Danish

Content

  • We boost your active vocabulary and focus on general fluency.
  • We use role plays and situational dialogues from everyday life and your work.
  • We improve your comprehension of spoken Danish. Many practical drills.
  • Work related materials and texts may be included in the classes as you wish.
  • Socializing in Danish: Polite phrases and greetings in Danish.
  • Supplementary training in Danish grammar and linguistic correctness.

Location

We offer both online and face to face teaching at Virksomhedsskolen, Vesterbrogade 37, 1620 Copenhagen. When registering, please specify whether you prefer online or face-to-face teaching.

Price

Course fee per student including teaching materials: DKK 4,700 excluding VAT.

Duration

20 lessons of 45 minutes, with 2 lessons each session over 10 weeks.

  • Elementary level:
    Mondays: from 09:00-10:30 or from 16.00-17.30
  • Intermediate level:
    Tuesdays: from 09:00-10:30 or from 16.00-17.30
  • Advanced level:
    Thursdays: from 09:00-10:30 or from 16.00-17.30
